Pilates is an exercise system developed in the early 20th century by German physical trainer Joseph Pilates. Also called as βContrologyβ
PILATES IS KNOWN TO HAVE MULTIPLE PROFOUND BENEFITS SUCH AS:
Deeper mind-body connection
Stronger core
Better posture
Improved balance and control
Strengthening body from inside out
Improved flexibility
Improved breathing
Longer and leaner look
Great for rehabilitation, working with injuries or pregnancy
In Mat work Pilates exercises are done standing up and lying down on an exercise mat. Small exercise equipment can be used, such as; Pilates ball, elastics, resistance bands, small weights and Pilates circle to bring more intensity and challenge into the classes
In Pilates Reformer exercises are done on the Pilates Reformer machine. Reformer creates more challenge for body's extremities and when using machine, class can be turned into a more intense workout for the whole body while still applying the Pilates principles.
(If you book this option, you are assumed to have an access to a Reformer machine)
Suitable for pregnant or recently delivered women.
I am Stott Pilates Mat work, Reformer, pre-and postnatal certified instructor.

Breath work is a westernized term to different controlled breathing techniques that were derived and originated from breathing practices used for thousands of years by various spiritual traditions. They were practices around the world for healing, expansion of the consciousness and as a link between the mind, body and spirt. In breathwork the conscious control of breathing influences person's mental, emotional and physical state, with therapeutic and possibly profound healing effects.
Depending on individual needs and purpose of the session, I will introduce multiple different techniques of breathing from yogic style pranayama, meditative breathwork and stronger, such as, holotropic breathwork techniques.
